ODT Business Interiors, one of the region’s leading office fit-out companies, has relocated to its new headquarters as a key part of its expansion strategy.

The company, which recorded £2m worth of business alone in the past three months, signed a 10-year lease on the ground floor of two-storey 1580 Parkway at Solent Business Park, Whiteley. (M27 Junction 9)

ODT Business Interiors, which designs and fits out business interiors for office and industrial clients, moved in after completing its own £60,000 fit out of the 2,894 sq ft (269 sq m) space.

ODT Business Interiors has been at the heart of a range of prominent contracts. They include the head office of First Drinks, which is Britain’s fastest-growing distributor of drinks, at Hook, and global drinks giant Bacardi Martini near Winchester.

Other recent projects include Baker Tilly Tax and Accounting Limited of Basingstoke and the YOU charity in Fareham, which helps thousands of vulnerable people in the South.

Occupiers at the park include Zurich, Matchtech Group Plc, National Air Traffic Services, Northrop Grumman, ITV Meridian and St James Place Wealth Management.

On behalf of global property group Goodman, ODT Business Interiors’ office has been leased at £43,410 a year, equivalent to £15 a sq ft, through joint agents Hughes Ellard and King Sturge.

Less than 50 metres away from ODT at 1580 Parkway, the joint agents have also arranged a 10-year lease on 1490 Parkway - 5,000 sq ft (464 sq m) for Matchtech Group Plc, a UK top-20 recruitment company.

Matchtech will use 1490 Parkway for its two new trading brands, Barclay Meade and Alderwood Education. To this end, they appointed ODT Business Interiors to undertake the necessary five-figure design and fit-out of the property.
